Rivers United could not find their flow in a Confederation Cup clash with Tunisia’s Club Africain on Tuesday night as they lost 3-0. Their nightmare was aided by Nigerian striker, Kingsley Eduwo playing for the Tunisians as he bagged a first half brace in the 3-0 victory.

The victory became emphatic in the 62nd minute when Rami Bedoui sealed the rout. The Tunisians have now strengthen their grip on Group C, pushing Rivers United down to the third position.

Kingsley Eduwo has just one international appearance for Nigeria when he featured in a 2-0 defeat of Benin Republic in a 2018 CHAN qualifiers played in Kano on 19 August 2017.

He had previously played for Gateway FC, Abeokuta Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars before travelling out to join CS Sfaxien in 2017.
